Public NoticeThe Joint Commission began surveying its facilities on an unannounced basis January 1, 2006. The purpose of the survey is to evaluate the organization's compliance with nationally established Joint Commission standards. Survey results are used to determine whether, and the conditions under which, accreditation will be awarded to an organization. Joint Commission standards deal with organization quality and safety-of-care issues and the safety of the environment in which care is provided. The public may contact The Joint Commission Office of Quality Monitoring to report any concerns related to the hospital's quality of care or safety by calling 1-800-994-6610 or e-mailing complaint@jointcommission.org This notice is posted in accordance with The Joint Commission's requirements and may not be removed.
