St. Francis Hospital volunteers will play “Santa” to low income seniors by delivering more than 300 Christmas bags full of goodies donated by hospital employees to the House of Mercy, Stewart Community Home, Russell County DFACS and Columbus Gardens TOMORROW Tuesday, December 22. The effort is part of the seventh annual Stockings for Seniors project, coordinated by the hospital’s Mission Awareness Team. Deliveries will begin at 9 a.m. Employees will host a Christmas party for residents at Columbus Gardens at 12:30 p.m. as Santa Claus and his helpers arrive with Christmas bags for residents.
