The Elena Diaz-Verson Amos Center for Breast Health at St. Francis is now offering genetic counseling for breast, ovarian and colorectal cancer. Cynthia Snyder RN, MSN, FNP-C, CBCN, joined the Center for Breast Health in October. Cindy provides hereditary risk assessments for breast, colon and ovarian cancer and consults with patients to determine if genetic testing may be beneficial for them. She is certified as a cancer genetics educator by the Oncology Nursing Society and has completed an intensive course in cancer risk assessment at City of Hope.
