Gestational Diabetes and Insulin Therapy

The Diabetes Program of St. Francis offers individual consultations for clients who need instruction in gestational diabetes management or who are new to insulin therapy. Most patients can be seen (by appointment) within 24-72 hours of their physician's referral. During individual consultations, St. Francis diabetes educators will explain the many benefits of insulin therapy and provide patients with a clear understanding of ways to effectively manage their diabetes.
